How do I sign up for a class?
Email us the athlete’s name, age and class that you are interested in. We offer existing students priority registration. Classes fill-up quickly.


Do athletes need to wear face coverings?
Face masks are not required for our outdoor classes. All instructors have been fully vaccinated.


Do you offer sibling discounts?
Not at this time.


How do we pay for class?
After we add your athlete to a class, you will be emailed an invoice. You may pay by credit card, Venmo, check (make payable to Fletcher Hills Tennis) or cash. All forms of payment are due by the first day of class.


Do you charge a cancellation fee?
No, if your schedule changes, please let us know as soon as possible. All classes have waitlists.


What is the youngest age that my child can join a class?
Our youngest entry level tennis class is the Rallying Rattler’s. The class is designed for children ranging from 6-10 years.


Why do you use colored balls?
Colored balls help new tennis players develop strokes, control, and accuracy. Colored balls make it possible for athletes to rally at a younger age and learn to develop their tennis game. Each colored ball is a different size and pressure.


Do you provide rackets in your classes?

We provide entry level rackets for athletes 10 years old and younger. Intermediate and advanced athletes must provide their own equipment.


What size racket should I purchase for my child?

What should my athlete wear to class?
Please wear comfortable athletic clothes and non marking shoes. Running shoes, converse, or Vans are acceptable. Tennis shoes are preferred. Please see our recommendation for children’s tennis shoes.https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Junior_Tennis_Shoes/catpage-JSHOEMAKER.html


Can I have my intermediate/advanced level athlete assessed to see what class level would be best for them?
Yes, we can schedule a 15 minute assessment to see what class would be the best fit.


How will I know when my athlete is ready to move to a more advanced class?
We asses all athletes during the last weeks of each session. We will contact you when it is time for you child to move up to a more advanced class.


Do you have refunds or make-ups for missed classes?
No, if you are unable to make a class during your session, we do not offer makeups or refunds.


What happens if it rains?
If possible, we will send a class cancellation via email two hours before the scheduled class. Sessions will be extend one week to make-up for the missed class.


Do you recommend a local tennis shop to buy rackets and tennis supplies?
